Methodology

ERC-20 tokens on Robinhood Chain mainnet (chain 4663): Pons launches, tokens with DEX pools, and tokens people post contract addresses for. Tokenized stocks, tokens on other chains, and Robinhood the company are excluded.

A token is tracked once 2 or more distinct accounts mention it within 24 hours, or its pools hold at least $10,000 of liquidity. It goes dormant after 14 days without mentions.

Tracked tokens are searched on X in tiers. The top 15 and new tokens with mentions are checked every 10 minutes, ranks 16 to 75 every 30 minutes, the rest every 3 hours. Tickers that are also popular on other chains (for example $BONK or $LINK) are searched by contract address instead of cashtag.

Each post gets a confidence per token: contract address 1.00, the token’s official handle 0.90, a unique cashtag 0.85, a shared cashtag with Robinhood Chain context 0.75. Ambiguous cases go to an AI classifier and count only at 70% probability or more, at 0.8× that probability.

The classifier also flags spam (giveaways, “vote for us” campaigns, engagement bait, copy-paste shilling), which scores zero, and reads sentiment per token.

Each post’s contribution to a token is E × A × C × S × R ÷ k:

• E, engagement: 1 + ln(1 + likes + 2×reposts + 2×quotes + replies + 0.5×bookmarks + views/1000).
• A, author quality: log10(followers + 10) / 4, capped at 1.5; ×2 for smart accounts, ×0.2 for bot-flagged ones; at least 0.05.
• C, confidence from linking, S = 0 for spam, R = 0.5 for replies.
• k = number of tokens in the post. Posts listing more than 5 tokens count 0.1 per token.

Per account, per token, per hour only the top 3 posts count, at 1, 0.5 and 0.25. A token’s mindshare is its summed contribution in the window divided by the total across tracked tokens. Shares add up to 100%. Δ compares with the previous window of the same length. The last 48 hours are recomputed every 10 minutes so late engagement is picked up.

Mindshare-to-market-cap = share of attention ÷ share of total tracked market cap. Above 1 means a token is discussed more than its size suggests.

Momentum z-score = (mean hourly score, last 6 hours − 7-day hourly mean) ÷ 7-day hourly standard deviation.

Smart accounts start as a curated seed list. Accounts whose posts repeatedly come before tokens enter the top 15 are proposed for promotion.

X posts through the Orbio API, paid for by the agent’s trading fees. Token list from Robinhood Chain (Pons factory events) and GeckoTerminal. Market data from GeckoTerminal. Sentiment, spam and summaries from an AI model through the Orbio gateway.

• Sampling, not a firehose. Coverage is whatever the searches reach. “Live” means the top tokens refresh every 10 minutes.
• Ticker collisions are resolved with rules plus an AI model and will sometimes be wrong.
• Engagement after the first fetch is refreshed only for top posts.
• Accounts outside the seed list are only seen once they use a tracked ticker, address or handle.
